Smart Urban eFly – smart urban electric aviation ecosystem

In the project, a nationally and internationally networked innovation ecosystem or center of expertise in electric aviation will be created in Uusimaa. The innovation ecosystem will support cooperation between organisations, the growth of companies in the field, the creation of new jobs, the development of the electric aviation industry, and promote the attractiveness of Uusimaa. These goals promote the sustainable and smart mobility strategy of the EU and Uusimaa, the goals of carbon neutrality, the realization of investments and innovations, and support growth from technologies and services.

The main goals of the project are:  

1. to promote the development of electric aviation business models
2. to support SMEs in developing, piloting and introducing new technologies as well as electric aviation products and services in cooperation with various operators
3. to create a nationally and internationally networked electric aviation ecosystem in the Uusimaa region in which businesses, research and training organizations meet  
4. prepare an international project on the development of electric aviation business.
