Birkle is a lecturer of event production in the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. She has been producing myriads of events since 2007 both for Haaga-Helia and for B2B customers. She guides the event management students in pragmatic event production projects and leads the Events by Haaga-Helia -service which is part of the university’s Service Experience Laboratory, LAB8. She’s a coordinator of Business Tourism and Events unit in ATLAS (Association for Tourism and Leisure Education and Research) and an active member of Congress Network Finland and Meeting Professionals International.
