City of Hugs

City of Riga challenges Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm to a hugging competition on Valentine's Day. Helsinki venue is at the Icepark next to the central railwaystation on 14 February at 12 - 4 pm.  

The aim is to get as many hugs as possible, hence the name City of Hugs. For each hug, a small amount of money is donated to help the victims of the Haiti disaster and to help the reconstruction. Event is arranged by HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences together with its partners airBaltic and The Finnish Red Cross.
